Of paramount concern it has become as Some unknown hackers have bugged into the E- Learning website of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, on Thursday 25th of June, 2020.
This was affirmed by the Director of Information Communication Technology (ICT) officer, Mr. Olusegun Adeoni during an interview session with our correspondent in his office yesterday, Friday 26th of June, 2020.
Adeoni said, the hackers gained access into the platform as a result of the free will given to students and lecturers by the school Management, allowing them to have direct access to posting and viewing information on the website.
The Director added that, the Management introduced E - learning to meet up with the technological advancement of the world, in improving the educational standard of the Institution during this lockdown and staying at home period, amid COVID-19 infection.
However, Adeoni advised all students not to panic, but perceiver for few days from now, till next week as the ICT officials are working on the website.
