Ondo APC Expels Assembly member, Ask Deputy Governor to Resign



Political trends in Ondo in the last few months is getting tougher, as Leaders of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ese Odo Local Government Area  says the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi  must resign his position since he moved to the People’s Democratic Party(PDP).

The party chieftains also expelled the  member representing Ese-Odo constituency, Success Taiwo Torukerijoh for anti party activities and misrepresentation of the APC at the State Assembly.

In a meeting  held at Igbekebo, the local Government headquarters, the leaders insisted that Mr. Ajayi must vacate his office. 

The State Deputy chairman of the APC,  Agabra Ikoto Atili who presided over the meeting similarly expelled the  member representing Ese-Odo constituency, Success Taiwo Torukerijoh for anti party activities and misrepresentation of the APC at the State Assembly.

Top echelons at the meeting includes the commissioner for Information and Orientation,  Donald Ojogo, deputy chief of Staff,  Jimi Kuforiji, among others.

The motions were moved by Hon Richard Omosehin and seconded jointly by Ojogo and Hon Corporal Nanaopiri.
