Ondo City Marathon, which happened first in the heart of Ondo city years back is here again with aplomb in 2021. The previous editions which saw participants from within Ondo with over 20 winners rewarded with cash gifts,would now extend to 18 local government of Ondo state.
An event powered and supported by Hon Abiola Peter Makinde, Honorable Member of the House of Representatives, representing Ondo East&West Federal Consistuency and his wife, Dr Rhoda Makinde, convener of the Dr Rhoda Makinde Initiative, DROMI, a non-governmental organisation,have both thrown their weight behind the marathon coming up in November 2021.

The upcoming edition of the Ondo City Marathon promises to be more exciting and captivating than the maiden edition as a lot of key improvements have now been put in place and is scheduled to hold in November 2021. Happening right at the heart of Ondo city, a city not lacking in culture and traditions which dates back to centuries ago.
