Following flurry of encomium showered on Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu by eminent Nigerians over the recently approved Ondo Deep Sea Port by the Federal Government, the Olusin of Owalusin, in Iwaro-Oka, High Chief Stephen Ogunoye, has described the Governor as a man of parts.
Olusin said Akeredolu’s extraordinary qualities was largely responsible for the quick approval and granting of license to the Sea port, asserting that posterity will be kind to the Governor over tons of projects executed in different areas of the state.
Ogunoye who wondered how Akeredolu embarked on the series of projects despite available paltry resources, noted that the Governor's administration has been a blessing even in the teeth of the economy already in dire strait.
The traditional ruler who stated this in an exclusive interview with our correspondent on Tuesday, congratulated the Governor for his assiduous efforts, which he said, led to the successful approval of the Port.
The statement tersely read, “I was in seventh heaven when I heard the good news about the approval of the highly anticipated Deep Sea Port approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
“Unequivocally, Akeredolu’s regime has provided us with new hope and optimism for the future, this is a giant leap forward.
“His government id very efficient in dealing with problems that seemed to last forever. Thank you for living up to our expectations Mr. Governor.
“Considering the numerous projects executed so far, posterity will be fair to Arakunrin for allotting large chunk of time and resources to make Ondo a livable place, despite infinitesimal fund made available.
“As a community, we shall continue to key into his REDEEMED Agenda for the purpose of supporting the good works of his administration which had enlivened the state with life-changing initiatives.
“However, we also extend our deep appreciation to Adeyeri Stephen Kunle, an illustrious son of the land popularly known as ASK, for lighting up Owalusin with Solar powered street lights.
“Adeyeri's intervention is highly commendable”, he said.
