Akure-based youth leader, Oluwaseun Oladapo, popularly known as Choko Milo, has dismissed reports alleging his involvement in the recent killing of a police inspector in Ondo State.
Oladapo, in a statement, described the online accusations as a deliberate attempt to smear his name, insisting that he played a crucial role in helping security agencies track down those responsible for the attack.
He noted that he led a team that trailed the suspects and facilitated their arrest before handing them over to officers at B-Division, Oke-Aro, Akure.
“It is disheartening that while we are cooperating with security forces to seek justice, false narratives are being spread to associate my name with an issue I endeavored to resolve,” he stated.
Reaffirming his commitment to peace and public safety, Oladapo pledged full cooperation with investigators and urged the public to disregard what he termed “fake reports,” maintaining confidence that the truth would eventually prevail.
He also debunked claims that he brandished a weapon outside the Governor’s Office in Akure, describing such allegations as a calculated attempt to malign him.
Oladapo further accused those behind the reports of waging a campaign to undermine him “at all cost,” warning that no amount of blackmail would distract him from supporting law enforcement efforts in the state.
