The affected officials, according to a statement issued on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, include all Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants.
The statement noted that the governor expressed appreciation to the aides for their contributions to the development of the state during their time in office and wished them success in their future endeavours.
It added that the decision was in line with the administration’s ongoing drive to reposition governance structures for greater efficiency and responsiveness.
In a related development, the governor is set to appoint about 1,000 new aides drawn from across the 203 wards in the 18 local government areas of the state.
The move, the statement explained, is aimed at strengthening grassroots coordination and injecting fresh capacity into the administration.
