An aspirant for the House of Representatives under the African Democratic Congress for Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency, Hon. Akingbola Ebenezer Akintunde, popularly known as Mogbaf’OGO, has called for improved representation from the current lawmaker.
Akintunde, in a statement on Saturday, urged the incumbent to prioritise impactful and people-oriented projects that would directly benefit constituents.
He expressed concern over what he described as inadequate delivery of tangible development initiatives, stressing that residents deserve visible and meaningful dividends of democracy.
The aspirant maintained that representation at the federal level should translate into measurable progress in infrastructure, empowerment, and social welfare.
He further stated that the constituency has vast potential that can only be unlocked through proactive and committed leadership.
Akintunde, however, expressed confidence in his chances, noting that if he secures the party’s ticket and wins the general election, he would reposition the constituency for growth and development.
He assured constituents of his readiness to provide effective representation anchored on accountability and service delivery.
The ADC chieftain added that his ambition is driven by a desire to improve the living conditions of the people and attract sustainable development to the area.
