A Nigerian On-Air Personality, Roby Ekpo, has recounted an emotional ordeal after allegedly discovering that his wife remarried in the United States despite years of separation and financial support from him.

Ekpo broke down in tears while speaking during a yet-to-be-aired episode of Honest Bunch Podcast, where he narrated how he stumbled on private messages that, according to him, revealed the true state of their marriage.

The media personality said the messages, which he claimed his wife did not know he had accessed, exposed deep-seated dissatisfaction and emotional disconnect in the relationship.

“I don’t even care if he loves me or not because what can love do for me besides stress me? He isn’t taking care of me as a man should. He isn’t satisfying me sexually. He isn’t helping my spiritual life. He isn’t spoiling me. He isn’t anything good… I have been coping with unsatisfying sex for almost three years,” he quoted.

Visibly shaken as he read the message, Ekpo said the revelation was devastating, particularly as he had believed they were both committed to building a future together.

“I’m 48 years old. I don’t have a kid… I started going for sperm tests,” he said, adding that he had been making efforts towards starting a family.

He further alleged that his wife underwent a medical procedure in the United States, which he was initially told was related to fertility but later suspected was misrepresented.

Ekpo also expressed pain over what he described as his sustained financial commitment to the relationship during her stay abroad.

“For six years she travelled, and I was sending money every time. I have receipts here.

“I would do a gig of ₦500,000 and send ₦200,000. I was even sending flowers, friends in the US helped me deliver them to her,” he said.

The podcast episode, which has since generated reactions online following the release of a preview clip, captures the OAP pausing intermittently as he struggled to hold back tears while recounting his experience.
