The African Democratic Congress senatorial candidate for Ondo North, Prince Foluso Mayowa Adefemi, has promised to pursue job creation, youth empowerment and improved electricity supply as key priorities if elected in the 2027 general election.
Adefemi said he would use his position in the National Assembly to attract federal interventions and projects capable of improving the lives of residents and opening up new economic opportunities across the senatorial district.
He said employment generation would receive particular attention, promising to support initiatives that would equip young people with relevant skills, encourage entrepreneurship and connect residents with opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
The ADC candidate also pledged to champion empowerment programmes for youths, women and other vulnerable groups, saying access to productive resources could help residents become self-reliant.
Adefemi identified electricity as another critical area requiring urgent attention, promising to push for interventions that would improve power supply to communities and support businesses operating within the district.
According to him, better electricity would strengthen local businesses, encourage investment and make it easier for entrepreneurs to expand their operations and employ more people.
“My priority will be to bring practical development to Ondo North. We will pursue empowerment, job opportunities, improved electricity and federal projects that can directly impact the people,” he said.
He added that his representation would be driven by regular consultations with constituents, stressing that the concerns of the people would guide the issues he would pursue at the National Assembly.
Adefemi urged voters across Ondo North to support his candidacy, expressing confidence that the 2027 election would provide an opportunity for the people to choose a representative committed to development, empowerment and improved living conditions.
