A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Sam T. Ologunorisa, has celebrated the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef O. Fagbemi, SAN, on the 30th anniversary of his conferment as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Ologunorisa, in a tribute to Fagbemi, described the milestone as a reflection of decades of outstanding legal practice, leadership and service to the legal profession.
He noted that Fagbemi’s three decades at the Inner Bar went beyond the number of years spent in the profession, stressing that his career had been defined by the impact he had made and the lives he had influenced.
Ologunorisa, who described himself as one of Fagbemi’s mentees, said he had personally benefited from the AGF’s wealth of experience and commitment to excellence.
He said, “It is not just the length of a career, but the depth of its impact. To reach this 30-year mark is to demonstrate not only exceptional legal skill, but also steady leadership, principled advocacy and a standard of excellence that others, including me, have witnessed and benefitted from.”
The legal practitioner further commended Fagbemi for maintaining what he described as a high standard of professionalism and principled advocacy throughout his years at the Inner Bar.
He prayed for continued good health and longevity for the Attorney General, expressing optimism that Fagbemi would have many more years of service and contribution to the legal profession and the country.
