Authentic News Daily, a Kaduna-based media organisation, has been named Media Agency of the Year at the 2026 edition of the League of Extraordinary Achievers Awards (LEAA).
The recognition was communicated to the organisation in an official letter signed by the event coordinator, Adeyemi Adekunle, on behalf of the organisers, Gaze Production.
The organisers said the award was in recognition of the media outfit’s contributions to society through innovative campaigns, excellence in media production and the delivery of quality content that has continued to enrich the media industry.
According to the letter, the award ceremony will hold on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at Hotel Seventeen, Tafawa Balewa Way, Kaduna, by 5pm.
Gaze Production described LEAA as a platform that has, over the past five years, established itself as a notable recognition initiative, celebrating outstanding contributions in leadership, governance, entrepreneurship, humanitarian services, innovation and community development.
It added that since its establishment in 2021, the award platform had organised five editions, honouring prominent individuals, corporate organisations, government institutions and business leaders.
Among those previously recognised are former Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd.); Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe; Dr Wole Kajola; the Chief Executive Officer of Aso Savings and Loans, Mrs Risikat Ladi Ahmed; and Prince Emeka Onyido of Mozida Group of Companies.
The organisers said the annual event had witnessed growing attendance, rising from over 700 participants in its earlier editions to more than 1,000 distinguished guests annually.
Authentic News Daily, established in 2015, began as an online news platform before expanding into print journalism, with its newspaper now circulating across major cities in the country.
The organisation also organises annual public lectures and awards as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives. Its 10th edition was held in 2025 at Arewa House, Kaduna.
Authentic News Daily is published by Jatuski Communications, a company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2004. The organisation's temporary corporate headquarters is located near Sabon Tasha General Hospital in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, while plans are underway to establish a permanent ultramodern office.
