As the Ondo state ruling all Progressives Congress, (APC) Gubernatorial primary draws nearer, campaign organization of Chief Olayide Adelami, who is a frontline aspirant in the party has alleged a Divisional Police Officer and Touts believed to be Boys of party Over Suspected attack in the home of the aspirant.
In a statement today by Rahaman A. Yusuf,
for ÓLà mìLaaka Media Team, said "Some of the boys were seen buying petrol with gallons at the filling station by the house while some were shouting that the building be razed"
The statement reads, "The Divisional Police Officer, Owo Division one of the Nigerian Police Force, SP Akingbehin Akinwumi, today led some police officers and thugs loyal to the Special Assistant to Governor Akeredolu on Natural Resources, Mr Fatai Lawal, in a suspected attack on the country home of the leading aspirant in the July 20th primary election of the APC in Ondo state, Chief Olayide Adelami"
"The attack, which was foiled by men of the Nigerian Police Force stationed at the residence of Chief Adelami saw the DPO in one hilux van, an armoured personnel carrier, some Aketi branded vehicles and motorcycles carrying known thugs and cult members brandishing guns and other harmful weapons advance on the house from different directions"

When contacted on telephone for reaction by newsmen, the Spokesman of the Ondo state Police Command, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro who denied the allegation against the DPO, said policemen at the scene were to restore peace when the two sides were engaging in bloody clash.
The PPRO said no arrest had been made due to heavy shooting of gunfire by the suspected political thugs.
