Otunba Bamidele Akingboye (OBA), People's Democratic Party (PDP) exceptional gubernatorial aspirant has made commitment towards rebuilding the party if he emerges PDP flagbearer and subsequently Governor of Ondo State.
Akingboye made this known repeatedly in his address of OBACO Coordinators across the three Senatorial Districts. During the meeting with Coordinators from the Southern Senatorial District, OBA appreciated the current State Working Committee (SWC) of the party for how much they have been able to hold forth.
He said "your uncommon skills cannot go unnoticed. You have tried your best against all odds to make Ondo PDP a formidable opposition in the last few years."
While discussing contentious issues with delegates and Coordinators from the Central Senatorial District, Akingboye said he is confident that a very large percentage of PDP run-away members will return if he emerges party flagbearer because most are either his friends or beneficiaries of his philanthropic gestures.
When issues related to consolidation of the party's structure was raised during the meeting with Northern Senatorial District advisors, coordinators and delegates, OBA enjoined his audience not to be perturbed as there is already an arrangement where reinforcing the cords that binds us together as party members will also be prioritized while the state is developing at a geometric rate and credence is given to merit.
These submissions by OBA has further endeared delegates and party faithfuls to him as PDP wants to regain her status as ruling party in Ondo State come October 10, 2020.
