Ondo State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Agboola Ajayi receives the news that the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN tests positive for the Coronavirus with great empathy and compassion. He is reliefed by the disclosure of Mr Governor that he's asymptomatic and feeling good in the self isolation.
The Deputy Governor urges all the good people of Ondo State to pray for Mr Governor's quickest recovery and general wellbeing. Health is not something to play politics with and as such craves the cooperation of all at this period.
It's our fervent prayer that the Governor will overcome this to continue to pilot the affairs of the State for the progress and prosperity of all.

GOODWILL MESSAGE TO GOVERNOR ARAKUNRIN AKEREDOLU ON TESTING POSITIVE TO COVID 19!
Your Excellency,
Bi a ba un ja, bii pe ka ku ko. That we disagree does not mean you should be dead. I saw the video of your announcement of testing positive to COVID 19 this morning and I was moved by your sincerely and desire to work. I pray that you will survive, live and tell the story, Amen. Though we may disagree politically but I won't pray that evil befalls you. We want to defeat Your Excellency in the forthcoming primary election in good health, hale and hearty sir.
I wish to advice Your Excellency to leave those files alone and take some time off because in that video, your breathing was not normal sir. Emi ise gun ju emi eniyan lo and no matter what, office lo ma rehin alakowe sir. Take time to take good care of yourself Mr. Governor, your job remains till February 23rd, 2021. Health is Wealth.
I wish to further advise Your Excellency to tell all our Honourable Members of ODHA that travelled with Your Excellency to Abuja the other time and danced without taking COVID 19 precautions to self isolate immediately. The Obas that adopted Yours Excellency some days ago should also not be left out of isolation in line with NCDC guidelines on Covid 19 though little precautionswere taken by the Obas.
Sir, it is also very important at this time to tell the First Lady too to temporarily suspend the ongoing Widow Empowerment Program and proceed on isolation with all those that have contact with her in the last one week immediately.

The news that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu tested positive to corona virus came to me as a rude shock this afternoon.
While submitting my governorship Expression of interest and Nomination forms at our National Secretariat today the news filtered in.
But I want to implore every indigene and resident of our dear Ondo State to put our governor in prayers. I can assure you that Governor Akeredolu will survive this challenge just as my gut feeling tells me.
I want to counsel that nobody should play politics with this development because we are all mortals and vulnerable to sickness.
May the good Lord grant our dear governor quick recovery.

Fellow Christian brothers and Sisters, peace of God unto you all. Today 30th June, 2020, our Governor in a video sent on his Twitter handle told us that he has tested positive for covid-19. As children of God and people of faith, in line with the Scripture, it has become expedient for us to lift him up in prayer. I therefore request that special prayers be organised for him and all those who are battling with the pandemic in the State and across the globe.
We wish our Governor a quick recovery in Jesus Christ Mighty name. Amen.

It came to me as a rude shock on hearing the news of the governor's health status, am very sure the governor will defeat this virus and be back to normal.
My prayers are with you and I beseech all ondo state citizens to follow the lay down precautionary rules that was given by NCDC to curb this ravaging pandemic.
