People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leading governorship aspirant, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye(OBA), has promised to bring his experience to bear in the restoration of the lost glory of Ondo State occasioned by the ineptitude of past administrations.
Akingboye made this known during a chat with party faithfuls in Okitipupa LGA. While encouraging them to hold dear to their hearts the gift of a blessed and brilliant son God hast bestowed on the land by supporting his bid to clinch PDP'S ticket come July 22 Primary Elections.
Akingboye decried the high rate of poverty and hardship experienced by the people in the last three and half years - a situation that has emboldened his interest in bringing genuine transformation to the lives of his people via responsible and responsive governance. "Ondo State people deserve an experience of the state's glory days" Akingboye said.
Otunba Akingboye, furthered his canvass for votes and support by assuring the listening party leaders and faithfuls of an uncommon kind of leadership if elected flagbearer and subsequently Governor.
He said boldly; "governance will be for the overall development of the state because each LGA in Ondo State is blessed with a unique natural resource and abundance of human resources enough to reposition the state in the comity of states globally".
Akingboye concluded by charging his supporters to shun any form of thuggery or confusion during the Primaries as the unity of PDP remains paramount above personal aspiration of her Members. He pleaded that they go about an issue based campaign even in the face of abuse by other aspirants.
