How do we nip kidnapping activities in the bud in Akoko?
This is the question on the lips of many residents, as another two persons have been abducted between Ugbe in Akoko northeast and Oka, in Akoko southwest areas of Ondo State.
It was learnt that the victims, a man and a woman were said to be travelling on the road when the incident occurred.
It was gathered that the woman , a textile trader and her driver were said to have been abducted by unknown gunmen while taking some textile materials to Oka.
Meanwhile police from oka Akoko, local hunters and the vigilantes group have been mobilised to comb the forest in the bid to rescue the victims.
However, as reported by positive Fm, The police area commander for Iwaro , Assistant commissioner of police Funso Iluyemi who confirmed the incident said police were on top of the situation.
