Hon Ikengboju Gboluga, a House of Reps member representing Okitipupa/Irele federal constituency, yesterday, expressed euphoria at his nomination as Eyitayo Jegede’s running mate.
Veracity reports that Gboluga that will now replace Olumide Ogunje earlier submitted by Jegede.
Gboluga, in a statement signed by him stated that when elected, governance will be prosecuted in a pragmatic and progressive manner.
The statement reads, "With a mind full of gratitude and immense responsibility, I wish to inform the public that I humbly accept my nomination as the running mate of our great party's governorship candidate, Eyitayo Jegede SAN as we head into the October 10 Guber Poll in full fledge"
"Before I go further, it's pertinent to acknowledge the impressive support of our party leaders both at the national and state levels, members of the PDP within and beyond the state, my teeming supporters as well as different political, economic and socio-cultural groups.
