The joy of many residents in Owo, a polytechnic Community in Owo local government area of Ondo state, knew no bound as the special assistant to Ondo state Governor on Natural Resources, Hon Fatai Lawal, empowered vulnerables residents' of the town.
The beneficiaries were Residents of his father's street, at Asewa -Ijebu, owo.
The empowerment which worth millions of naira includes: A brand new car, motorcycle, refrigerator and twenty thousand naira cash gifts to ten petty traders of the community.
While handing over the items to the beneficiaries, Fatai Lawal noted that the kind gestures was aimed at bringing succor for them.
He further adviced them pose an unwavering support, commitment to the re election of the state Governor.
It was gathered that the brand new car was given to the beneficiary, Olufemi Ojo, who involved in an auto crash while hunting for his daily survival.
Similarly, a small scale business woman, Helen Obi, who is into frying of beans cake received a refrigerator to boost her business.
According to Adedeji Adeniyi, convener, 'Elite Coalition for Good Governance' (ECGG), stated that Fatai Lawal gave the woman the refrigerator after she was unable to offer a cold water when the Governor's aide patronized her.
Also the Fatai gave out a motorcycle to a needy young lad, Mr. Gbenga, as well as cash gifts to 10 women who were resolute to start business.
However, in their unanimous words of appreciation, the beneficiaries who were over joyous prayed wholeheartedly for the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the donor.
