Ahead of the Ondo State local government election slated for Aug 22, special adviser to Ondo State Governor, Hon Babatunde Kolawole, today, declared that Akoko South East Local Government area of the state is for the ruling all Progressives Congress (APC).
Babatunde made the declaration during a campaign tour.
The Special Adviser, during the low key campaign, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, also urged the good people of Epinmi and Ipe Akoko to send out the right signal ahead of Ondo State Gubernatorial election during the forthcoming local government poll.
According to him, he admitted that his local government is a no go area for any oppositions, but members of the ruling party must play thier roles by turning out in their large numbers and deliver well above 90% of votes for the Governor and the party flag bearer at the local government poll.
In the same vein, the former federal lawmaker also led other notable leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Local Government to Sosan, Ipesi and Ifira wards on campaign for the upcoming election.
Veracity reports that the campaign tour of the local government moves to Isua Akoko tommorow.
