Governor Akeredolu Commissions chocolate factory in Idanre




It was full of pomp and pageantry today as Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, commissioned a chocolate factory in Alade Idanre, Idanre local government area of Ondo state.

In his goodwill message at the official commissioning of the Chocolate factory, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu noted that the factory was a priority, adding that the project was at the brink of moribund when the government began precipitated rejuvenation. 

Earlier, senior special adviser on Agro  business, Pastor Akin Olootu stated that the previous administration left some projects at moribund stage, adding Gov. Akeredolu has  penchant for continuity in governance. 

According to him, he said, "we are here today to officially commission the chocolate factory in Alade Idanre, we should have commissioned the factory, but the Covid-19 was the major impediment" he said. 

He further stated that Akeredolu's administration Distributed over two million Cocoa seedlings to residents.
