Nigeria@60: Cleric tells politicians to be incorruptible

As Nigeria celebrates diamond Jubilee in few days, a christian cleric and pastor in charge of C.A.C olorundamilare Aje okeagbe, the headquarters of Akoko northwest local  government area of Ondo state Pastor, Gabriel  Agbaje  has called on Nigerians in respect of political and religious affliation to use the 60year independence anniversary to do things right in order to give the country a good image.

Pastor Agbaje revealed that God loves  Nigeria by endowing it with both human and mineral  resources to make it great as a giant of Africa.

Agbaje appealed to Nigerians particularly the politicians to shun corruption and reckless spending in order to be able to solve problems of decayed infrastructure and unemployment that had remained worrisome.

On the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo state he appealed for peace and decorum before during and after the October election as this will make the state to move forward.

Speaking on the proposed workers strike for reversing the  price of petrol and hike in electricity tarriff, he said it should be dropped because common people are going to suffer when hospitals are shut down.

He, however, urged organised labour to involve round table dialogue with the federal government.The cleric called for interdenominational prayers for the country particularly the experience of 2020 a special year.
