Ondo 2020: Jegede promises to review tuition fees if elected

Relief appears to be on the way for students, parents and guardians, as the gubernatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Ondo State, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, vowed to review the exorbitant amount of tuition fees for Tertiary institutions in the state.

Jegede made the disclosure today at the palace of Jegun of Ile-Oluji, Oba Julius Olufaderin Adetimehin, during his campaign to the milieu. 

The guber candidate who felt the pains of students, noted that the present administration  ladened the burden of parents who were left to their own hardship.

According to him, he said  the immediate past administration in state govern by PDP shunned pieces of advice to Jack up the tuition fee, adding that If elected, he will reduce the tuition fee for sake of the downtrodden residents.

Speaking earlier, the erstwhile chairman of  PDP in the state, Hon. Clement Faboyede stated that no administration surpassed PDP in terms of qualitative governance, stressing the need for electorates to vote for Jegede. 

On his own part, A member of house  representatives representing Ilaje Ese-Odo federal consistuency, Hon. Victor Akinjo, expressed displeasure over what he described as recklessness and maladministration of Akeredolu led government. 

He also stated that no project was commissioned in the southern senatorial of the state. 

In his royal response, the Jegun Olu-Ekun of Ile-Oluji, Oba Julius Olufaderin Adetimehin, appreciated the good gesture of Jegede and  his supporters, maintaining that all political parties must shun violence in order to ensure free and credible Poll in October 10, 2020. 

In a similar development, Jegede assures farmers of  Amo community, in okeigbo of provisions farming equipment to ensure mass production of foods and ease in the Agricultural sector. 

He, however, appealed to the residents to throw thier weight behind him ahead of the governorship election.
