Play Politics that will bring good development, Akoko leaders tell residents

Following the clash that occurred in Oba Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo state on Wednesday, Akoko leaders forum (ALF) has urged residents in the milieu to eschew from violence, and play politics that will orchestrate infrastructural development. 

The spokesperson of the group, Chief Ogundare and Chief James Oladotun disclosed the Group's stance to our correspondent today. 

According to duo, they equally urged politicians to offer quantum leap and solicit for unprecedented development from the government. 

They said that involvement in thuggery is not what the area expect, rather they expect progressive politics without bitterness, acrimony and destruction of lives and properties.

The group also condemned the political clash of both  Apc and  PDP at oba Akoko where the the town was turned to battle field. 

In thier unanimous call, they urged security agencies to be proactive and strategise a lasting solution to abrogate violence. 

Efforts to speak with the monarch of Oba Akoko, Oba Nurudeen  Adegoroye  on his comments about yesterday political clash failed but the chairman Oba  Akoko development council, chief wahab  condemned shambolic act as the town  was disrupted from exercising their conventional norms, values and way of lives.
