After the departure of the paramount ruler of Alade Idanre in Ondo state, reports says traditional rites have commenced.
It was learnt that some trees in the community have been trimmed as part of the first phase of the rites.
It will be recalled that Oba Akinbola had joined his ancestors few days ago after a brief illness.
As reported by Radio Nigeria, following the transition of the monarch, a regent had emerged.
She is Princess Temiloluwa Akinbola and she is one of the children of the union of the late Oba Akinbola and Olori Iyabode Arinola Akinbola.
It was gathered that her choice was the unanimous decision of the Aladeokun in council which led to the formal presentation of the Staff of Office to her by Chief Smart Adeghaka, the Ayadi of Alade Idanre at about 1.50am on Sunday 18th October 2020.
Princess Temiloluwa Akinbola is aged 50 years and shes a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State.
She worked with NTA, Ibadan, Oyo State before she became self employed. She will start her reign immediately the funeral rites are completed.
