A Popular group in Ondo state, Ipe Youth of Thought (IYT) has congratulated Rotimi Akeredolu on his re-election as governor of Ondo State, following his victory at the polls on Saturday.
In a statement sent to our correspondent, signed by the group's National President, Comr. Adurewa Vincent, and it's Chief Press secretary, Ekun Ojo, described Akeredolu’s victory as well deserved considering his achievements in the state in the past four years.
The statement reads briefly, "Ipe Youth of Thought felicitate with his Excellency Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu Odunayo, the Executive Governor of Ondo State and his Deputy Hon Lucky Ayedatiwa for their Second term re-election Victory under the Platform of the All Progressive Congress APC as Ondo State Governor and Deputy Governor elect in the just Concluded Election in the State"
"No man ever achieved worthwhile success who did not at one time or the other find himself with atleast one foot hanging well over the brink of failure, we urge the Leaders and followers to Support the Governor in actualizing the Set down Visions"
"We also charge Mr Governor to be Magnanimous in Victory and always remember that a Successful leader must be willing to take responsibility for the mistakes and the Shortcomings of his Subjects. God will grant you Power and Strength to continue the Good work in the State. Once again, congratulations to you sir and let keep the sun shinning"
