The Nigerian lnstitute of Public Relations (NIPR),Ondo State Chapter, has felicitated with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, on his re-election as Governor State.
This was contained in a statement signed by the institute's Chairman, lamidi Ishola and secretary, Sunday Omosule.
Nipr, in its goodwill message, also urges Akeredolu to extend hands of fellowship to his co-contestants towards ensuring qualitative governance.
The statement reads partly, "Mr Governor's profound victory is a credence to his giant strides in the various fronts of governance,which have pleasantly impacted on the people of Ondo State"
"The lnstitute commends the lndependent National Electoral Commission (INEC),for ensuring transparency in the conduct of the election and the security operatives for their professional conducts which doused pre-election tension and frustrated the antics of purveyors of violence"
"In the same veinn, we commend the electorate across the state for their peaceful conduct,in exercising their franchise even in some very challenging conditions"
"While we do appreciate the fact that attaining worthy heights as a state is a process, it is our considered opinion that there is so much more to do to improve the well being of the people of the Sunshine State, and we therefore urge the governor ,to endeavor to make life better and brighter for the citizens in his second term so as to justify the loud confidence reposed in him"
"We congratulate you once again,Mr Governor,as we wish you another term of continued progress in good mental and physical health"
