The former ward coordinator and secretary of Agboola campaign structure, Comr. Joshua Akinte, on Sunday, resigned his membership from the Zenith Labour Party.
Akinte made his decision known in a terse letter entitled: 'Resignation as Zenith Labour Party Member'
According to the letter, he said the rationale behind his resignation was "due to the perplexed treatment weathered by Zenith Labour Party, before and after the just completed gubernatorial election in Ondo State"
The letter reads: "I wish to inform you of my decision to resign my membership of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP)"
"My decision is due to unconsolable and perplexed treatment weathered by the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) before and after the just completed Gubernatorial election in Ondo State"
"As a critical stakeholder and grassroot mobilizer, I delivered my polling unit for Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) and her Gubernatorial candidate in October 10th Gubernatorial election"
"I wish to thank my political Ally, and my respective companions in the political realms for their words of encouragement"
"I want all hands to be on deck as my subsequent line of movement will be disseminated soon"
"I wish Ondo ZLP a favourable destiny electoral Battle"
