The convener of United for better Nigeria initiative (UBNi), an autonomous organization that supports Southeast zone to produce the next president of Nigeria, Mrs. Nkoli Mkparu Okeke is calling on political leaders in Ebonyi and southeast against politics of animosity and uproar and charged them to develop a common agenda that would promote unity and sustainable advancement in the state /zone.
Mrs. Nkoli Mkparu Okeke, additionally advised the leaders to put the interest of the region first, strengthening that politics was not about splitting the people and combatting enemies.

She cautioned the politicians to see beyond their interest, she also call on all concerned to spurn politics of animosity and confusion and pursue a common interest, irrespective of party alliances. Politics is not about creating and fighting enemies, or power tussle or show of force. it is not about disconnecting the people. Politics is about seeking a platform and the ability to manage it to honestly impact the people and improve the communities Irrespective of party disparities, let us forge a common agenda that will promote peace, unity, and prosperity among all people.
As a preacher of justice fairness and equity she appealed to other regions to cede the next presidency to the southeast, she called on PDP, APC, and any other party to field their candidates from the East in 2023.
She appeals to southeast political leaders to seek the backing of their colleagues from other regions for support to actualize the long-awaited dream, as it's obvious that South East can't work in solitude but through common understanding and alliances with other ethnic groups or zones in our country. This is the spirit that we must encourage.”
Mrs. Nkoli further pointed out that people from the South East for many eras have been contributing enormously towards national progress. They have done well where they have been called to serve the nation in key positions.
Every Zone has capable leaders including the South East to pilot the affairs of our great nation Nigeria through inclusiveness she asserted.
