The abducted man whose driver was shot dead by gunmen few days ago in Ise-Isua road in Ondo State has been released by his abductors.
It was reliably gathered that the gunmen believed to be kidnappers' dropped the man in Ikakumo area of Akoko Edo Local Government, Edo State.
It was learnt that the man was taken to an undisclosed hospital for intensive treatment in Ikare-Akoko.
It will be recalled that Veracity News Online reported the abduction of the man who turned out to be a Pastor, while his driver was left in his pool of blood.
Reacting on the incident, the Police Area Commander, Ikare command, ACP Razak Rauf, revealed that the man is the Pastor of All Christian Fellowship Mission in Ikole-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
He further stated that the Victim maintained that he was coming from Abuja when the armed Kidnappers flagged down his vehicle, killed his driver before he was whisked away.
As of press time, it cannot be ascertained may be ransom was paid to secure the release of the Christian Cleric.
