Rugipo announces resumption date with conditions

In continuation of the 2019/2020 academic session, Management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, on Friday, directed its students to resume.

The directive was contained in a circular letter to all members of the polytechnic community, entitled: 'Resumption of students and commencement of academic activities in the second semester of 2019/2020 academic session', signed by the institution's Director of Academic Affairs, Gbenga Ademiluyi.

Ademiluyi, in the circular said the Rector of the School, Gani Ogundahunsi, approved 17th January, 2021 for resumption of all students, while academic activities commence the following day.

Following the second wave of Covid19, the School also unveiled conditions for gaining entrance into the campus. 

The conditions reads: "All Students must strictly comply with the wearing of Nose mask everywhere on the Campus, possession of pocket-size Hand Sanitizer for personal and regular use" 

"Students must wash their Hands with soap at the School Gate before entry, observe Social/physical distancing and other COVID-19 preventive measures", the Director said. 

He, however, urged the members of the polytechnic community, as a matter of necessity, to comply with the aforestated precautionary measures.
