The story is long 

Just like the cord that binds our hearts

Something worth to write about

Tragicomedy dance everywhere

Like soldiers, their dance before war

And no time to pen down

The dreamed tale of our love

Our resolution had no solution yet

A tiny virus infected it

2020: a time for truth and lesson.

Anger, bitterness and hate words also infested it. 

I bear all the blame.

We pray for sunshine

But a moment of darkness appeared

We lay on humiliation and threat

Captured and controlled by bullies

Bullies who are full of lies. 

Come to me honey,

The blame can never be put on you

Please, let my chest embrace your head

And feel how my heart beats for my trust in you. 

2020 wasn't a symbol of love nor hate

Positivity and negativity romanced

With bunch of dreams- our pregnacy

But this blame is never yours. 

And we thank God, Honey, amidst the odds

We miscarried not the pregnancy

Hence, let's keep hope alive

For if life remains

Another time will always be

Truly, the arrow of lockdown struck our plans

And our dream hang between the shadow of itself and realization

But we pray the new year comes with balm

To heal our pain of yesteryear

And let's remember

The night we concieve our dream

That night when we were united

Upon the mattress of agreement

That night that I sang to you the lullaby of faith

To lure your heart to consent

And the moon peeped through the opening in our curtain

To stand as a witness

Let's return to the love room

Let's sing the lyrics again

To ignite our hope

For I see with the eyes of faith

The new year is a compensation

For the loss of the yesteryear

Now, play the music for us, 

Turn down the volume, 

Let your heart maintain a close contact with mine. 

Let our lips romance. 

Look into my eyes, 

This is our year of fulfillment, 

And I love you as I always do.

I love you too my love.
