Ondo state based Pastor, Dr Amos Arijesuyo, who was shot by gunmen believed to herdsmen earlier today on Akure-Ilesa-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday evening passed on.
Veracity news online had reported earlier that the incident which occurred last night, was confirmed by a close associate of the clergyman.
The senior Pastor at CAC , Glory of God, FUTA Akure, Dr Amos Arijesuyo and his driver were allegedly shot by suspected gunmen who are herdsmen.
Another Pastor of the church , Pastor Olu Aladesanmi confirmed that it happened between five and six o’clock in the evening along Ilesa – Akure road while the duo were coming from Ibadan.
It was learnt this evening that the pastor has died of gunshots.
