The Acting Rector of Crown Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, K.T Ajisola, has debunked insinuations making the round of hike in the tuition fee of the institution.
He explained that the only changes that occurred was mode of payment, adding that all payments have been consolidated.
Ajisola stated that the decision was aimed at ameliorating the stress of students who pay fees into different bank accounts.
In a statement by its Acting Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Temitope, noted that installmental payment of 50% per semester is allowed.
He, however, urged students to disregard the false claim, maintaining academic lectures start next week Monday.
Meanwhile, the ALUMNI association of the Institution has expressed readiness to offer quantum leap and renovate moribund structures in the campus.
Comrade Adebisi Marvelous, the President elect of the association, highlighted their various plans for the school and entire Odo community, which includes two modern bus stops at the entrance of the Institution, Boreholes for the host community, renovation of the school hostels among others.
He urged the school management to support them in order to work hand-in-gloves for the development of the institution.
While reacting, the Rector applauded the Executives elect and pledged on behalf of the management to support them in every of their goodwill plans for the institution.
