Rev. Daniyan, Others become Canons in African Church

The presiding Pastor of St. Paul's African Church Isinodo, Rev. S. A. B Daniyan, has been elevated by the authority of  African Church to the position of a Reverend Canon. 

He was installed on Sunday June 13 at Ebenezer Cathedral Ikare Akoko, in Akoko North East Local Government Area of Ondo State. 

Others installed along side with him were: Rev. Ademola S.O, Rev. Omoyugbo T.O and Rev. Orungbemi B.O.

Counselling the newly installed Canons, Ven. Omojola, enjoined them to seek the divine power of God in order to enable them dispense their services to humanity.

Omojola, who spoke during his sermon entitled: 'The call of God on your life', urged the men of God to showcase humility, sincerity and honesty as  senior clergymen.

Despite the worsening insecurity, unfettered social vices that have plagued the Country, the firebrand Preacher advised the congregation to be steadfast and unrelenting in all their ecclesiastical activities.

He said: "You must not relent when it comes to church activities, that is why you need the spirit of excellence that will make and not mar you" 

"To run the demanding race, you need anointing in order to scale through and you must not give room for pride, self aggrandisement because of your elevation"

"As good leaders, you need to live by examples, be good to everybody. You may be conferred simultaneously, but your reward will be individualised", Omojola concluded.
Other church leaders present were, the Arch Bishop of Oka- Akoko Province, The most Rev. J. O Akinsanya; Bishop of Akoko/Idoani Diocese, the Rt. Rev. E. A Akinrodoye; Provincial Vice lay President, Prince V. A. B. Obaya; Ven. G. O Oyetayo; Ven. Arohunmolase, Ven. Adisa and others from different walks of life.
