The Oyo State Coordinator Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe has charged Prospective Corps Members to participate actively in Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development program (SAED), encouraging them that the program is Self-sustaining. Stating that their participation in the program not only empowers them with skills, but also give them opportunity for self discovery/fulfillment which will transform them to entrepreneurs and wealth creators who would not ply the streets of major cities looking for elusive jobs.
Ogbuogebe gave the charge at the Opening ceremony of SAED for the 2021 Batch C Stream I orientation course at Iseyin camp.
She intimated them that the SAED program is designed to be implemented within the framework of the In-camp training and post-camp where corps members will futher take up mastery training of their chosen skills and help young graduates cope with challenges of unemployment and global socioeconomic down turn.
The State Coordinator encouraged the Prospective Corps Members to identify with any of the 12 business skills and explore their business opportunities while assuring PCMs of the availability of startup funds/loans from financial institutions that have entered into Memorandum Of Understanding with the Scheme.
Earlier in her remark, the AD SAED Mrs. Atinuke Ojo encouraged PCMs to add value to their lives by taking up whatever skills they acquired in camp which is training at no cost. Stating that there is need for the PCMs to acquire skills and be job creators rather than job seekers.

The PCMs were futher encouraged to discover themselves and convert their ideas to money making and trans-generational business by the motivational guest Mr. Orimade Kolade while the EDP lecturer was introduced to the PCMs for the EDP lecture.
Highlights of the event was the exhibition of skills by the facilitators, with the camp officials in attendance.
