The Head of Kingmakers in Ipele, in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, Chief Raji Olujase, has debunked trending reports that some hoodlums attacked 8 Kingmakers in the community.
Olujase made this known in a terse statement entitled, “No Course for alarm on the preparation for selection of the next Olupele of Ipele”, obtained on Tuesday by our Correspondent.
The statement read, “Our attention has been drawn on online media reports claiming that Ipele Kingmakers were recently attacked on Monday night this over the obaship tussle .
As a matter of fact, there was no attack on any of the eight Kingmakers.I hereby challenge journalists from the various media houses to visit Ipele town and contact the various Kingmakers for confirmation”
“I ,Chief Raji Olujase, the Adele Olupele and the Head of the Kingmakers want to put the records straight that the online media claims were the figment of imagination of the reporters”
“Ipele residents are going about their normal businesses and are in great anticipation for selection of a new Olupele of Ipele within this week, by God's grace”
