A businessman Mr Alade Lawson has won the All progressives congress APC bye-election ahead of the February 26th general election into the vacant seat of the Akure north/South federal constituency.
The election which took place at the Dome Igbatoro Akure has eight contestants vying for the same seat.
The election became necessary following the demise of Mr Isaac Adedayo Omolafe PDP house of Representatives member representing Akure north/south federal constituency
PDP and APC will contest for the seat on the 26th of February 2022.
