The newly appointed Vice- Chancellor (VC) of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa has expressed his commitment to raise the institution’s ranking.
Speaking at the handing over , Ologunorisa promised to make the institution a major global player in learning and research.
”I will soon unveil my turnaround agenda for this university. My dream is to raise its global ranking.
”My focus is to make the institution one of the best in education, learning and research,” he said.
The VC thanked Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for finding him worthy to serve as the university’s vice -chancellor.
He also commended the institution’s Governing Council for transparency and insistence on merit which culminated in his appointment.
Ologunorisa, however, urged the staff of the university to be diligent and committed toward achieving set goals.
The outgoing VC, Prof. Sunday Ogunduyile urged Ologunorisa to be focused to enthrone quality education.
