Endurance, care for the less privileged and sharing of love have been described as virtues of Ramadan which every individual especially those in leadership positions should imbibe to ensure a peaceful society.
A Legal Practitioner and Governorship Aspirant under All Progressive Congress APC, in Oyo State, Mr. Akeem Agbaje gave this submission while speaking with Pensioners` FM on virtues and lessons of Ramadan.
He emphasized that building a just, peaceful and united society should always be paramount in thinking of any progress-loving leadership.
The lawyer cum politician emphasized that with proper leadership re-engineering, Oyo state and Nigeria can still recover from all forms of socio-economic challenges.
Mr Agbaje, who is also a Public Affairs Analyst however called on the people of Oyo state and Nigeria in general to use this year coincidence of Ramadan and Lenten seasons in praying for a peaceful conduct of coming elections, end to insecurity and others vices bedeviling the country.
