Olawuseyi Olawumi an aspirant under the All progressive Congress into House of Assembly to represent Ondo East, has called on the leadership of the Party both at the local government and State to annul the fraudulent exercise conducted last thursday at his constituency where votes were allotted to aspirants by some compromised party representatives.
Reacting to news making around that he lost the primaries, Olawaseyi said even an Aspirant who had already stepped down from the race was allocated votes in the fraudulent exercise that held around 8:00pm in the night.
Oluwaseyi Olawumi noted that the delegates used for the unconstitutional primary at the night was doctored and were not authentic delegates list previously compiled from different wards of the local government.
“The election was deliberately delayed till around 8pm which is an odd time to conduct such an election and accreditation was not done before voting started.
He however call on the Party State working committee and appeal committee to cancel the kangaroo election and organise a fresh legalised election; "The State executive and appeal committee should cancel this show of shame kangaroo election in Ondo East and call for a fresh legalised and supervised primary election so the will of the people can prevail". He added.
