Re: Ipinsagba Emerged Through Fake Delegates list —Ajipe

Our attention has been drawn to a widely circulated report credited to Chief Alex Ajipe, where he alleged that Pastor Jide Ipinsagba emerged through fake delegates' list.

Ordinarily, we should have keep such phony report at arm's length because it is needless and inconsequential to break the ice over a pure sophistry trumped up by the aspirant who represented the underdog in the shadow election, but it is imperative we edify the public by setting the warped record straight.

Ajipe is just an apple of discord. He came second in the primary election, as he overran two other aspirants by polling 57votes; then how did he garnered the aforementioned votes if the list was truly fabricated?

Saying “market women and traders were presented as delegates” is not only laughable, asinine and puerile, but it shows how the report was propped up with spurious allegations with the intention of misleading the general public.

Intrestingly, Ajipe and his Director General, Barr. Tolu Babaleye, congratulated Pastor Jide at the venue of the election after he (Ipinsagba) was declared winner yesterday.

It is pertinent we state unequivocally that the Ajipe's approach to the panel to seek redress is just a cry in the wilderness because the election was conducted with propriety.

We urge the public most especially our ardent supporters to be unperturbed. The loser wants to spend his money by playing ducks and drakes over a matter that doesn't even hold a modicum of water.

Signed
