The leadership of Uhurie United Union
(UUU) of Ughievwen Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State has advised Hon Chief David Edevbie to sheath the sword and dismantle his political warchest
by respecting the opinion of the Party
as decided at the primaries which Produced RT. Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori , Speaker DTHA to be the flagbearer of the Party for the Delta 2023 gubernatorial election.
The Uhurie emissary Group stated that Chief David Edevbie has put up a gallant fight in the spirit and letters of the democratic ethos and views of Deltans in the selection of the state leadership , Particularly as it concerns the PDP as a Party Which is good for our nascent and fledging democracy.
However, the Uhurie United Union Exco
strongly observed that they believe that the protracted struggle of who becomes the PDP flagbearer in Delta State come 2023 should be put to rest, noting that it is time for Chief David Edevbie to respect the Party supremacy
Which have already given the mandate of the people through the Primaries to RT Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori in their representative capacity as delegates approved by the Party to carry out the selection process.
Hon Chief Francis Vevakpor, the National Coordinator of Uhurie United Union who spoke to newsmen over the thorny issue explained that RT Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori Speaker DTHA is an illustrious son of Uhurie and in that regard, the Group is proud to identify with him and congratulate him for his well deserved victory at the appellate court which restored the mandate of the people given to him.
Hon Chief Francis Vevakpor, the Uhurie United boss made a conmmpassionate appeal as he called on all Party faithful and relevant stakeholders at all tiers of Government to mobilize enmass
the Youths ,the women and the entire
voting population in Delta Political space to support RT Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for the upcoming gubernatorial election so that he can take over the saddle of leadership in Dennis Osadebey House come 2023
to continue on agenda of expect MORE
to consolidate on the laudable srides of Governnor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.
