In a bid to offer quantum leap and equally repress abysmal living condition in four Local Government Areas of Akoko, Ondo State, a non-governmental organization, KK foundation, has empowered widows.
The International organization, owned by a Nigerian in diaspora, Chief Mrs. Kemi Koku, presented cash gift to the widows in order to shore up their various businesses.
Handing over the cash to the selected widows drawn from the LGAs last weekend, Mrs. Kemi Koku noted that the money was given to assist the women sequel to their abysmal conditions.
The cash, Koku said, would make the widows to be self reliance and offer them the seldom opportunity to uptick a better living condition.
Represented by Rev. Canon Daniyan Samuel, she urged the beneficiaries to harness the gift for the advancement of their businesses, adding that the economic woes have aggravated pains of the citizenry who are pushing to eke out a living.
The beneficiaries who thanked the donor, expresses delight and unanimously prayed for the success of the founder of the foundation.
