Ahead of 2023 election, All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has advised to focus on his vision and mission to serve Nigeria with all his capacity and capability rather than listen to voices of critics with selfish and ulterior motives.
A Constitutional lawyer and Human Rights Activist, Dr. Tunji Abayomi who gave the advice today in a statement pleaded with Asiwaju Tinubu to disregard those critics and be more focus on how to move the country forward.
Abayomi who also the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko in Ondo State stated "I listen to some of them even some who claim to be trained lawyers. They keep saying Tinubu was indicted, he was indicted, he was indicted and on and on and on. What is indicted other than a formal charge/notice for criminal trial.
"Yet they admit that he was never tried or formally notified that he had a criminal charge to defend. So what is this legal nonsense, legal ignorance from those who boast to be lawyers, who keep saying he was indicted.
"It is just utterly embarrassing that those who present themselves as serious trained lawyers in particular will display such low rated ignorance.
