A member representing Ondo East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Abiola Makinde, has promised his constituents that if re-elected into the Lower Chamber again, he would embark on more life-changing projects.
He noted that his recent projects commissioned in the Federal Constituency were just a scratch in the surface, adding that plans are afoot to shore up the living conditions of those trying eke out a living in his milieu.
Makinde stated this while appreciating God yesterday during his annual Thanksgiving program held at Oba Adesanoye Civic Centre, Ondo City.
According to him, he said he was able to impact his constituents through divine inspiration to do more for the people, while he appreciated God for His unwavering support since the inception of his first term.
“God has done so much for us, some people said I have Impacted my constituents through several projects, empowerments among others. This is just the beginning, I have plans to do more for my people, they have been so supportive”
Also speaking, the Lawmaker's wife, Dr. Rhoda Makinde, said the people of the constituency are the gift of God for them.
The renowned philanthropist said, "the beautiful strides recorded so far lays further credence to the fact that we have been blessed by God. It no surprise that we have a community of people who have continued to give their all to ensure the success of this representation.
"For this and many more, we appreciate God for us and this wonderful community of people who we are proud to be identified with" she added.
However, the Ondo State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperative Services, Deaconess Lola Fagbemi, who described Makinde as an Achiever, lauded the constituents for throwing their weight behind the re-election bid of Makinde, while she assured them of quality representation.
