The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, in Òndó State congratulates members and all Nigerians on witnessing the turning of the new chapter in the calendar of life. Welcome to Year 2023.
This was contained in a statement signed on Sunday by its Chairman and Secretary, Lamidi Ishola and Sunday Omosule, respectively.
“This New Year comes with hopes and dreams which can be effectively translated into reality of progress and development only if each individual and all of us can play our parts in making our immediate environment better than it was last year.
“Let us approach the year with positive mindsets, setting goals and working towards the realization of same. We must also not forget that this New Year is highly significant in the anals of Nigeria. Therefore, as we go into general elections this year, let patriotism, character and candour guide our actions and inactions. Shun vote buying and selling and ensure you vote for the candidates of your choice without let or hindrance. Let us know that whatever decision we make in the forthcoming elections will have a lot to do with what the future holds for our dear country.
“Finally, please let us celebrate with utmost modesty, taking into cognizance the mood of the moment in our country and be security conscious.
