Members of the Ondo State House of Assembly are to resume legislative activities on Thursday, 2nd February, 2023 after some weeks of recess.
Based on the above, the Lawmakers have been given the necessary 72 hours normal notice to resume, starting from today, Monday, 30th January, 2023.
This was contained in a statement made by the Clerk of the House, Barrister Benjamin Jaiyeola, who stated that the resumption is at the instance of the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun, calling all the State House of Assembly Members to resume on Thursday, 2nd February, 2023.
The Speaker of the House, while presiding at a plenary on 20th December, 2022 during the passage of the 2023 appropriation bill announced that the Honourable members were embarking on recess to enable them actively celebrate the yuletide season with their constituents.
The lawmakers are by this notice expected to attend to legislative assignments accordingly while Mr. Speaker wishes all Hon. Members travelling grace back from their various Constituencies.
