The people of Oyo State should avail themselves with the opportunity to enjoy more dividends of democracy, good and inclusive governance by re-electing Engr. Seyi Makinde for a second term as the governor of the state come March 11.2023.
Omituntun in Diaspora (OID) admonished the electorates in the State in this manner when its train of food bank outreach for the less privileged stopped at the Rehabilitation Centre for Disable Persons at Temidire Area, Moniya in Akinyele local government, Oyo State.
Addressing the beneficiaries, OID Coordinator in Ọyọ state, Ambassador Ọmọnikẹ Aderibigbe, said the gesture was to identify with welfare gesture of Governor Seyi Makinde, whom she described as running a passionate government with policies and decisions that prioritize people's well-being.
Also speaking, OID youth Ambassador, Akinyẹle local government, Comrade Moruf Ọladẹjọ, urged youths to make their voice heard by securing their voter's card and re - elect Governor Makinde's forge ahead in to steering the affairs of Ọyọ state for sustainable socio-economic and human resources development.
In her remark, the principal of Rehabilitation Centre for Disable Persons, Temidire, Moniya, Akinyele local government, Oyo State, Mrs Shonuga, while appreciating the gesture, commended Governor Makinde for regular and timely salary payment, due running cost for the centre among other benefits.
Some of the disables and vulnerables who benefited from the OID food bank outreach who could not hide their happiness prayed God to reinstate Governor Makinde for another term.
The train of OID food bank outreach for the less privileged which also branched Akinyele rehabilitation Centre, where Ọyọ State government relocated destitute, beggars and mental-ill persons evacuated from Ibadan metropolis, blessed the inhabitants with edible items.
