LUCIDITY
Ho! A seasoned preacher is here
Let him who desires to know come
I will speak of excellence
Let the sinners hear and be clean.
Political affairs is immoral, my people
The stakeholders are demoniac like the man of Gadara
And as unclean as Gehazi, the greedy
He, who has ears, let him hear
What spirits say to His church
The kingdom of this world, not ours
To the princes of this world it belongs
Unlink your mind and thumb therefore
For if you abstain and you shall be clean.
The gluttons on the throne
Need your blessings and nothing more;
This you shall gladly do; it’s your civil right
Your prayers are water of purification
To purify the demons in them.
As I speak
I see among you, Presidents of tomorrow
And Governors.
President’s wives and honourable ministers
But remember, and always remember
Politics is a sin, it’s a big, big sin.
But the old message is fading away
For the true and saintly orientation
Now we are getting it.
For how do I abstain
And sustain a good office?
How do I mount the horse-back?
By abstinence?
Politics is dirty, honourable post is clean
National cake is sweet, the bakers are demoniac.
