At the Optimal Petrol station in Ondo State, a fuel tanker that was being discharged exploded.
Both the filling station and the tanker were set on fire, it was learnt.
An eyewitness who simply identified himself as Emmanuel, claimed that the pressure explosion and ensuing fire were the result.
People in the neighborhood began packing up their belongings out of panic.
However, the Federal Fire Service and Ondo State Fire Service personnel arrived in the nick of time and assisted in putting out the fire.
Sources disclosed that owner of the incinerated tanker just purchased it, which was on its first trip to discharge petrol.
